Annie Margaret (Richardson) Clark

Annie M. Clark, 77, of Rock Island, died Friday, March 9, 2018 at her home.  Funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Olivet Baptist Church, Rock Island.  Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7^th Ave., Rock Island.  Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Annie was born on January 31, 1941 in Guntown, MS, a daughter of Lonnie and Ella Mae (Young) Richardson.  She married James H. Clark on June 17, 1967 in Rock Island.  James passed away January 21, 2016.  Annie spent most of her life as a homemaker for her husband and daughter.  She loved spending time with her family, fishing with her husband, crafts and gardening.  Annie was a 50 year member of Olivet Baptist Church. 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shelonda “Lynn” (Alvin, Sr.) Butler, Bolingbroook, IL; grandchildren, Alvin Butler, Jr., Deja Butler, Pvt. Malik Butler; great grandchild, Lola Butler; siblings, Tarlie McKinney, Charles Richardson, Lee Richardson, Lawrence Richardson, James Richardson, Ann C. Foulks, Herbert Richardson, Willie Richardson, Jackie Richardson; brother in law, Thomas (Becky) Clark and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Leroy, Lester and Lonnie Richardson.
