Prayers and peace to the family. I went to school with Bonnie at good ole Hartem High School. I lived about a half mile from their farm in Emden. We were in band and chorus together. Such a sweet personality and a beautiful voice. Although i had not seen her since high school she still holds a warm place in my heart.. My condolences to the family..

Dear Family, We were planning on coming up to see you in person, but, as Bud is almost 90 and I am now 83, we cannot drive into the late evening. According to the weather it may be raining as well, and both of us had cateract surgery recently, we do not drive very far from home. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Bonnie. Gail Lynn Fee and Billie Marie Maquet also wish to let you know that you are in our prayers. Love Cousins Betty, Buell, Gail, Billie

I first knew Bonnie when were students at the Emden Grade School. She was a year older than I, but we became friends and continued that friendship as we continued our education at the Hartsburg-Emden High School.
She had a lovely soprano voice and I accompanied her on the piano as she sang at many community events and especially, the IHSA Music Contests. She always received a 1st rating!! I was privileged to play the pipe organ at she and Larry's wedding at the Emden Methodist Church. I remember her lovely white velvet wedding gown.
As we grew up, married and raised our families, we lost contact over the years. As I read her obituary, I was sad that we had. She would have continued to be an inspirational, fun and loving friend.
Our sympathy to your whole family. May God continue to guide you!

I was so sorry to hear about Bonnie. I was in the first grade at San Jose Grade School with her and remember her well. Her picture looks like the little girl I know. Comforting thoughts and prayers sent to the family.

When I was a very young girl, meeting Bonnie for the first time, I thought "I want to be like her when I grow up". She was truly a lady! My heart goes out to my cousin, Larry, and his family. What wonderful memories you must have. All my thoughts and prayers......Gail (Mrs. David M. Fee)

I remember the first time we met and the many good times we had as family. I received your picture of your wedding showing me and my girls, Gail Lynn & Billie Marie with my 1/2 sister Lonnie and my mom in the background. I have it on my dresser and look at it each morning remembering what a beautiful bride you were. Can't say much about that husband of yours. Of course, he was a fine young man and a great athlete. But I remember most the time he and his brothers Richard and John took my two girls to the movies when they were in their teens and the girls only 5 and 6. Just goes to show what a fine family they came from. Always loved Aunt Rhoda and Uncle Delbert.. they helped us in many ways and all of you are greatly missed.
