I worked with Bruce for ten years at Red Jacket Pumps, he was a wealth of knowledge and a great mentor for a young engineer. I would see him occasionally at a shooting event and we always had a great time catching up and reminiscing My sympathies to his family..

In February, Bruce and I talked after a twenty-four year. break. We'd been communicating over Facebook for about a year, but this time we decided to really talk. It was as though no time had really passed between our friendship. We laughed about the time we went for a ride on his motorcycle in subzero weather!! The three year stint of off/on carpooling to our Junior Achievement meetings once a week and even going to Junior Prom together.
Bruce was a loyal person as witnessed regularly by his dedication to his beautiful bride, Kris.
In 1994, when my parents passed away, he was at their funerals. We hadn't spoken for years but that didn't matter to him. Bruce didn't forget people.
Bruce was like the brother I never had. Always kidding me with a twinkle in his eyes. But, with Bruce, you knew it was with warmth and affection; and that he always had your back.
After so many years of time/distance between us, I'm grateful that Bruce and I were able to connect before he left to be with Kris. My condolences to Bruce's Mom and sisters, and family and friends.
Now, you will not be forgotten, my Friend.

Bruce was a very special friend of my family. Every day as I sit at my desk I look at some really special pictures of my children he took 40 years ago when he visited us in Dubuque. He shared a love of guns and hunting with my late husband, Dave. He was still driving Dave's Chevy S-10 pick-up at the time of death and loved to tell me that it had 140,000 miles on it. He will be truly missed.

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength, They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31. Remembering a beautiful life. You've lost someone who touched the lives of many and who will be deeply missed. What a beautiful smile and may you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared. Our prayers for God's grace to comfort you this next year as you journey without him.
