I am sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. I enjoyed the time I spent working for her and talking with her. To me, she was a mix of tough and sweet, similar to my own mother. Take care.

I've tried to leave our sympathy but message gets away before I send or save. Pat Logan and Rita Coyne were very fond of Charlotte and loved her pleasant ways and great little visits.
Much love to the family.

I remember many stops at Henry's when the kids were little and both Charlotte and Nate being busy behind the counter, but always smiling; they made a good team. In later years I would see Charlotte in her yard on 27th St. when I would be on my daily walk. She was always pleasant and often remarked on her girls who lived away. How great that she made the move when she did - what fun you all must have had.
May her light shine eternal....

Trish - I am sorry I did not acknowledge this posting sooner but they do not let us know when someone posts. Thank you so much for your kind words and memories of our beloved mother. Yes, our 5 years together in Chicago were such a gift and especially the final 6-7 months when she was in a wonderful assisted living, 7 minutes away from me! She is missed but our memories sustain us.
hope all is well with your family! jane

I was so saddened to read of Charlottes passing. What a special friend. She was a combination of 98 Angel with just "a wee bit" of the devil. Our ventures to the craft fairs and to the prison Sedar meals ( once including Nathan) are treasured memories. She was truly "one in a million".

Thank you Bonnie. Our hearts are broken but what a gift the last 5 years have been to have her so close to all of us. Thank you for those sweet memories.
