Jacqueline "Jackie" (Trout) Craft

Jacqueline "Jackie" Craft, 91, of Rock Island, died Friday, July 14, 2017 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church, Rock Island.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the QC Animal Welfare Center or to Christian Care, Rock Island.

Jackie was born in Golconda, Ill. on October 16, 1925, one of three daughters born to Charles and Effie Owens Trout.  She married Charles Cline on January 17, 1948 in  Milan.  He died in 1984.  She married John Craft in 1991 in Las Vegas, Nev.   He also preceded her in death.

Jackie owned and operated Jackie's Beauty Salon in Rock Island for 25 years.

Jackie was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Rock Island.  She was an avid card player and golfer.  She enjoyed going to the Scott County YMCA.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her great-great nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish her memory include her niece, Cathy Boultinghouse, Rock Island; nephews, Charles (Barb) Kluck, Cedar Falls, Iowa and John (Peggy) Kluck, Moline; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; step-children, Karen (Robin) Turner, The Villages, Fla., Mark (Cara) Craft, New Windsor, Ill. and Pamela (Paul) Baines, New Zealand;  lifelong friend, Jeanette Proesch, Moline; and her special dog, Kyler.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and sisters, Gladys Daily and Dorotha Kluck.
