Julie Lynn Carpenter, 59, of Sherrard, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4th Ave. E., Milan. Private family services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sterling. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sterling. Memorials may be made in care of the family for her grandchildren’s education.
Julie was born on October 21, 1958 in Sterling, a daughter of Ronald L. and Kathleen Blair Miller. She was raised by her step-father, Richard F. Williams and her mother, Kathleen Williams. She graduated from Milledgeville High School in 1976 and AIC Business College in 1978. She married David L. Beeman in 1979. On November 22, 1990, she married Daniel Carpenter.
Julie is survived by her husband, Daniel; sons, David Ryan (Kari) and Justin Lee (Stephanie) Beeman of Lynn Center; daughter, Jade (Luke) Lewendowski of Downers Grove; grandchildren, Jade, Logan, Gracie, Keaton, Lakyn, Hudson, Eloise and Colette; her mother, Kathleen Williams; siblings, Ann Skibbe, Richard C. (Shelly) Williams, Scott (Laura) Miller, Matthew Williams, Jenna (Dean) Wassell, Jay Williams, Stacey Melsness, and Jacob C. (Deanna) Williams; fifteen nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elisha Kay Beeman; step-father, Richard F. Williams; father, Ronald Miller; aunt, Margaret Lindsay; uncle, William Blair and her grandparents.
