Kay Posateri Keller

Kay Posateri-Keller, 85, of North Port, FL., formerly of Moline, passed away on Friday July 22, 2016 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, FL and was reunited with her beloved son, Steven.

Services will be 10:00am, Friday July 29, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to 1st Baptist Church, North Port, FL.

Kay was born on April 30, 1931 in Iowa City, IA., the daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth (Ponchard) Christy.

She married Anthony C. Posateri.  She later married Edward Keller.

Kay had been a successful business owner in the Quad Cites, as owner of a beauty salon, personnel service and realtor. She retired as a bank mortgage officer in Florida.

Mrs. Keller was a member of 1st Baptist Church, North Port and had formerly been a member of Moline Gospel Temple.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, cruises, church activities and reminiscing with family photos.

Survivors include her husband Edward, North Port, FL.; daughters, April (David)Schilb, Moline and Renee Mott, St. Petersburg, FL.;

 grandchildren, Christie Lambrect, Bradley Schilb, Ryan Schilb, Evan Schilb, Kristen Mack, Dylan Mott; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rose and Lynn Reddick; son, Steven; sisters, Jeanie and Loretta.
