Margaret Ann Lewis, 71, of Silvis, passed away Monday October 9, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.
A service celebrating her life will be 1:00pm Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the family.
Margaret was born on October 17, 1945 in Highland, IL, the daughter of Paul Eugene and Anna Koberczky Lewis.
She had been employed for over 20 years with St. Johns Hospital, Springfield, IL and later retired from the former Quad City Downs, East Moline.
Margaret was a graduate of Highland High School. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Amanda Poon-Pappoe, Silvis and Ada Lewis-Pho, Iowa City; grandchildren, Danny Jr. Pho, Randy Pho, Meiling Pho, Idongesit Essien, Nicholas Poon, Roman Poon, Dakota Poon, Brandon Poon, Rokia Soumare; great grandchildren, Max Pho, Laila Pho, Danny Jr. Pho III, Xaiden Pho, Catalaya Pho, Elias Poon, Ronin Poon, Jaren Jr Brooks, J'Leon Pho and Tristan Pho.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Lewis.
