Starr Perry

                Starr Perry, 79, of Milan, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his residence.

                A memorial visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Memorials may be made to the family.

                Starr was born on November 23, 1938 in Fulton, IL, the son of George and Nellie (Ritner) Perry.  He was married to Eda Perry, and she preceded him in death.  Starr was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Army.  Starr worked for Case IH as a welder before his retirement.  After retirement he worked at Waterworks car wash.  Starr enjoyed the outdoors; going camping, fishing, and hunting.  He will be remembered for his love of life and enjoying every day.

                Starr is survived by his sons, Ben (Rebecca) and Mark Perry; grandchildren, Brantley, Jeremiah, Tyler, Jayce, Allison, Eda, Mark Perry Jr., Stacey, and Ronald Andrew Perry; and siblings, Lovice Kallenbach, Ann Duncan, and George Perry Jr.  He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sons, Starr Perry Jr. and Jim Perry; siblings, Georgia, Creighton, Eda, and Susan.
