Roberta Joan Clark, 67, of Mt. Pulaski, IL, quietly passed away February 12, 2008 at home after a short but valiant battle with cancer, as her husband Dan held her hand.
Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
Roberta was born December 30, 1940 in Davenport, IA. There, she was raised by her parents Robert and Katherine (Dean) Offerman.
She met and married Daniel P. Clark of Rock Island, where they resided and raised six children. She enjoyed gardening and worked at the Showcase Cinemas in Milan for many years.
Missing her dearly are her husband, Daniel, of Mt. Pulaski; children, Kathleen Clark, and her companion Deborah, Rock Island, Matthew Clark and his wife Maria Teresa, Rock Island, Elizabeth Armstrong, Warrenville, IL, John Clark and his wife Amy, Arizona, and Jennifer Budd, and her husband Tom, Ames, IA; grandchildren, Ed, Yolanda, Robert, Ashley, Alexander, Emily, Amber, Erika, Jameson, Mahalia, Jacob, Brittany, David, and Kareena; six great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Cliff Wolken, Wisconsin, and Jeanne and John Linden, Davenport.
She was preceded in death by a son, David, in 1991, her parents and a brother Jim Offerman. |
