| Cheryl K. Reynolds, 50, of Rock Island, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation is Noon until service time Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The former Cheryl Moninski was born on August 15, 1957 in Rock Island, a daughter of Burnell and Nancy Evans Moninski. She married James C. Reynolds on September 1, 1996 in Rock Island.
Cheryl worked many years as a bartender at the Hilltop Tavern and Steve’s Good Old Time Tap, both of Rock Island. She enjoyed boating and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; son and daughter-in-law, T.J. and Angie Voss, Rock Island; stepchildren (and spouses), Debbie (R.J.) Coleman, Geneseo, Diane (Kevin) Kriebs, Glendale, Ariz., Doug (Ginny) Reynolds, Huntsville, Ala.; seven grandchildren; her mother and step-father, Nancy and Gordon VanWaes, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; mother-in-law, Loraine Reynolds, of Ariz.; sisters and brothers, Terri (Steve) Beckman, Burlington, Iowa, Kathy (Mike) Galik, Barberton, Ohio, Robert VanWaes, Cuyahoga Falls, Karen (Brandon) Lyon, Rock Island, Kevin (Natasha) Moninski of Ill. and Kenny Moninski, serving with the U.S. Army. She was preceded in death by her father, Burnell.
