| Ronald P. Bergstrom, 75, formerly of Rock Island, a resident of Rosewood Care Center, Moline
died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. There will be
no visitation or service. Private inurnment services will be held at the Rock Island Memorial Park
Cemetery at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue is assisting with the
arrangements.
Ronald was born May 13, 1932 in Rock Island, the son of Edward and Martha Craig Bergstrom Sr.
Mr. Bergstrom worked for the Furst & Furst, a corporate collection agency in Chicago, Los Angles,
and New Jersey. Finely retiring in 1960 as office manger from the New Jersey corporate office.
Ronald enjoyed living for many years in the East Side of Manhattan, New York.
He was a United States Army veteran.
Mr. Bergstrom was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Edward Bergstrom Jr. and
John Bergstrom.
