| Robert D. Brower, 64, of Milan, passed away Saturday May 31, 2008 at his home.
Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery, with Military Honors by American Legion 569/200 and V.F.W. 1303. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
Robert was born on November 29, 1943 in Jefferson City, Missouri the son of Claron B. and Dorothy G. (Mason) Brower. He married the former Barbara Nelson on June 27, 1964 in Rock Island.
Mr. Brower was a supervisor at John Deere Harvester, East Moline for 25 years retiring in 2001.
Robert was a member of Milan American legion Post 569. He attended Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island.
He enjoyed his horses.
Mr. Brower was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; daughter and son in law, Wendy and Jay Law, Monroe, NC; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Kenneth Brower, Milan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Brower, Jr., his parents and a brother, Eugene Brower.
