| James L. Lingafelter, 40, of Milan, died Sunday, June 8, 2008 in Rock Island.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. A memorial service will be held later. Private inurnment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Jim was born on May 28, 1968 in Moline, a son of Michael and Kay Milligan Lingafelter.
He tended bar at Big Mikes in Rock Island for 11 years. Jim then became an over-the-road truck driver.
He was a former member of the Rock Island Moose. Jim enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Kay of Milan; sister, Hiedi Goodnight, East Moline; brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael and Connie Lingafelter, East Moline and David Lingafelter, Houston, Tex. and his longtime friend, Christine Schmacht, Rock Island.
