| Gertrude “Trudy” Moses, 95, of Glenview, IL, formerly of Rock Island and Davenport, died Thursday October 9, 2008 at her residence in Glenview.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Hebrew Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hadassah, Temple Emanuel, or Chrons Colitis Foundation of America.
Gertrude was born December 12, 1912 in Hamburg, Germany, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Deith Calvary. She married Dr. Eugene Moses on February 2, 1936 in Hamburg, Germany. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1992.
She was a member of Temple Emanuel in Davenport.
Gertrude is the beloved wife of the late Dr. Eugene. Loving mother of Edith (the late Gerald) Kliman and the late Mark(Gail) Moses. Devoted grandmother of Jonathan and Dr. Daniel Kliman, Jered Wasburn-Moses (Leah), Keren Joshi (Sopan), and Chad Moses. Proud great grandmother of Adam, Seth, and Rachel Wasburn-Moses, and Rivka Joshi.
She was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Anna Calvary, and sister Ellen Calvary. | |
