C. Ann Wonderlich, 61, of Milan, died Wednesday December 31, 2008 at her home.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.
Charlotte Ann Wonderlich was born January 7, 1947 in Fairfield, IA, a daughter of Delmar Sloan and Clemma Gene Reynolds Sloan. She married Steven “Steve” Whipple on October 20, 1999 in Milan.
Ann was a bartender for many years at Anna’s Village Tap, Milan, and other area establishments. In earlier years she worked at Blackhawk College.
She was a member of the Moline V.F.W., Post 2153, Ladies Auxiliary and the Rock Island Moose Lodge.
Survivors included her husband, Steve Whipple, Milan; mother, Clemma Gene Sloan, Moline; daughter, Krista Sloan, East Moline; son, Sean Michael Svec, Moline; grandchildren, Nick, Stephenie, Miranda, Stephen, Jordan, and Kadon; brother (and spouse), Craig (Cathy) Wonderlich, Moline; half brothers, Donny “Don” (RenElla) Wonderlich, and Jeff (Yvonne) Wonderlich, all of Ollie, IA; sister-in-law, Janie Wonderlich, Colorado; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her maternal and paternal grandparents, father, and a brother, Michael Wonderlich preceded her in death.
