| Cloteal McGee, 78, of Moline, formerly of Rock Island, died Monday, July 13, 2009 at Trinity Medical
Center, Rock Island. Services for Mrs. McGee will be 1 pm, Tuesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
Cloteal was born on March 9, 1931 in Minden, Louisiana the daughter of Willie and Louisiana Mack
Norton. She married Charles C. McGee, Sr., on December 26, 1951 in McGee, Arkansas. He preceded his wife in death on April 28, 2008. Mrs. McGee worked as a cook at the former Sheraton Hotel in Rock Island until her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed ceramics, traveling, gaming boats, going to family reunions, visiting her sister, Esther in California, and especially spending time with her beloved family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters and sons in law, Cloria and Oscar Morrison, Rock Island, Mae and George Manley, Moline, Theresa Johnson, Rock Island; sons and daughters in law, Douglas and Marnita McGee, Moline, Charles C. McGee, Jr., Rock Island, Earman and Minnie Johnson, Rock Island; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Ester M. Coneal, San Jose, California.
Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles, Sr.; daughter, Charlene Dilworth;
grandson, Charleston Deon Dilworth; great granddaughter, Asya Branigan; great-great grandson and
great-great granddaughter, Kavon and Kaviona Branigan.
