| Janice A. Adams, 72, of Rock Island, passed away Monday September 7, 2009 at her home.
Services will be 10:00a.m., Saturday at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00p.m., Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established at a later date.
Janice was born on September 9, 1936 in Peru, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Eleanor (Gray) Knight. She married Francis “Dale” Adams on November 4, 1988 in East Moline.
Janice was retired from Bettendorf Office Supply Company.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Rock Island, Red Hat Society and East Moline 500 card club.
Janice enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, traveling with Dale, collecting Isabel Blooms, playing cards, knitting and reading.
Janice is survived by her husband Francis “Dale”; daughter and son in law, Jill and Bob Morgan, Milan; step children, Debra, Norine, Dale, Craig, Steve, Mike, Kelly; grandchildren, Anthony, Sarah and Amy Morgan, all of Milan; 15 step grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Sandy and Bob Butcher, Rock Island and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew.
