| Forrest D. Hoskins, 77, of Rock Island, died Friday, November 21, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center,
Rock Island. A memorial service will be 11 am Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home,
3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, where military rites will conducted. Memorials may be made to the family.
Forrest was born July 24, 1933 in Quincy, the son of Abner Hoskins and Madolyn Fitzpatrick. He married Phyllis Goodell in 1972 in Aledo. Mr. Hoskins worked as an assembler at International Harvester Farmall
Works, Rock Island for several years before retiring in 1975. His memberships include the UAW and the UAW Retirees. He was a U. S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; children, David (Debra) Hoskins, Westerville, Ohio, Judy (Jim) Miller, Rock Island, Richard (Lisa) Hoskins, Las Vegas, Tina (Tom) Nelson, Bridgewater, Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Fern and Trudy; brothers, Harold and Roderick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hoskins was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald, jerry, Maynard; sisters, Nancy, Connie; son, James; daughter, Deloris; great grandson, Tyson Allen Thompson.
