Patrick "Pat" Charles Elliott, 76, of Rock Island,

passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at home with his

family.

Services will be 11:00a.m. Friday at St. Pius X

Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4-7

p.m. today at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock

Island, with a Christian Wake service at 4:00pm. Additional visitation will be 10-11a.m. Friday at the church. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Pat was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Mystic, Iowa, the son

of William Elliott and Margaret Schmenk Elliott. He

married Kathleen Reese on May 23, 1959, at St. Pius

Church in Rock Island.

Pat served in the Air Force stationed at Yuma, Ariz.

He worked 35 years for Montgomery Elevator and was a

member of the IUEC Local 46. He also worked 11 years

at The American Bank. He was a member of St. Pius

Church. Pat was an advisor for Explorer Scout Troop

254. He loved the outdoors and motorcycle riding.

Survivors include his five daughters and son, Peg

(Thom) Hanssen, St. Louis Park, Minn., Nancy (Tim)

Koopman, Minneapolis, Minn., William (Joye) Elliott,

Rock Island, Susan (Tony) Hayes, Rock Island, Karen

(Mike) Alger, Moline, Janet (Jason) Harbeck,

Grayslake, Ill.; nine grandchildren; one

great-granddaughter.

His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
