Family of Katie... I'm so sorry for your loss. Katie was a close friend who I dearly loved. We spent time together with coffee visits, church, hugs and recipe sharing. She will be so sadly missed. She was a bright spot in my life and I will never forget her comforting hugs when my mom passed away. I truly believe that she is in heaven looking down saying what is all this fuss about.... Deepest Sympathy to all Katie's family.
So very very sorry for your loss of such
a fun loving lady.
I worked w/ Katie @ RIPD for several years. I enjoyed all her funny stories
and wittiness. She was just a joy to be around. Katie attended Rocky High and worked at RIPD w/ my husband, Lt. Richard (Dick) Smiley. The two of them having similar personalities would have a jolly time telling stories of their highschool days.
Sincere Sympathy, Linda Smiley

Katie was a precious and dear friend. Our conversations and shared hugs will remain in my heart for many years. I chereished her friendship and her sage wisdom shared during those many conversations. I will remember Kaite with love and my heart weeps with the loss of such a precious gift and blessing as Katie's friendship was to my life. I gather great comfort that she rests with our Father in Heaven and that we will see each other again. Katie will be a strong voice in Heaven singing praises to God for eternity! I miss you my friend....
