After finishing school she was employed by Dohrn Transfer Company as a key punch operator. She was later employed by Safeco Insurance for 31 years as a claims processing specialist. After her retirement she worked part time at Catholic Charities in Rock Island as a receptionist.

Pat was a life time member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Rock Island until its closing. She currently was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She attended the movie theatre almost every Wednesday with a group of friends from high school and often went out to eat after mass with a group of church friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching TV movies. Being a cat lover, she missed having pets in the last years of her life. Pat was such a good person. She was part of one of the best groups of people that I have been privileged to work with. I don't think there was anything that she didn't know and she handled problems so seamlessly that I would forget how big a problem it was. I am so happy that I got to spend the time working with her that I did. Rest in God's arms, Pat!

I too was blessed to have worked with Pat for many years during the American States era. She was always willing to help, answer questions, and so much fun to talk with and laugh about our daily adventures both business and personal. Heaven has another angel.
