| Glenys M. Kilgard, 81, of Milan, passed away Thursday October 28, 2010 at Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Tuesday November 2, 2010 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to 1st Presbyterian Church, LeClaire, IA, Bethany for Children and Families, Moline or American Heart Association. Glenys was born on March 26, 1929 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Smith) Brewer. She married Arther P. Kilgard on January, 11, 1948 in Moline. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2000. Glenys and Arther were the owners of the former Villa Restaurant in Moline and Andalusia. Mrs. Kilgard was a member of the Civic Club and the Buffalo Bill Museum, both of LeClaire. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children and spouses, Debra and Paul Smith, LeClaire, Tommy Kilgard, Daytona, FL., Judith and Rick Williamson, Rock Island, Billy and Joyce Kilgard, Coal Valley, Gary Kilgard, Titusville, FL., Holly and Dwight Burley, Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Troy Smith, Amy (Matt) Meyer, Brent (Jannine) Kilgard, Nicholas Williamson, Stephanie (EJ) Dye, Jeffrey (Shelby) Kilgard, Amber Kilgard, Faith Berger; great grandchildren, Alex, Jason, Joshua, Jacob, Justin, Drake, Peyton, Trevor, Tanner, Kennadie, Mason; brother, Ted Brewer, Texas and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a infant daughter, Kathryn; brothers, Robert, George, Dean, Joe; sisters, Violet, Marjorie, June and Joy.
