I was very blessed to know Pauline through first the Cheney's, and then through Pauline Fisher. She was always a very delightful person to be around. I truly regret not visiting more often over the last few years. I will pray for your loss of a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister. God Bless all of you.

She often forgot to tell me something after our phone conversations, so she called again, even if we spoke for half an hour. It was customary.

Pauline will always be etched in my mind as “Mrs Bennett”. My best friends’ mom on 34th Avenue. My mom worked when I was young so it was Pauline who acted as my substitute mom. She bandaged more than a few of my cuts and bruises. She scolded me when I got out of line and was the kind of neighbor, I now hope corrects my kids when they’re out of my sight.
Although its been over 30 years, I hope all of you know you are in my thoughts and prayers

My sympathy to you all. I just learned of your mothers passing, She & your dad were my neighbors briefly in Winding Creek. Although it was short, I enjoyed them as my neighbors. She often baked goodies for my large family.

Love you, Grandma! You were the BEST! I will miss your phone calls and cards so much! You were such a beautiful person inside and out, and you were so blessed with so many friends. You were a friend to all, and with joy, we will continue to remember you and celebrate your life! Thanks for starting the tradition of Jesus' birthday cake and for having such a giving heart. I am going to send cards always in memory of you! XOXO Pork and Beans :)

My sister, Ruthie, sent me the obit. I was, as my sister Thelma was, friends from grade school on. The Ockee sisters and their dear family were always special to our family.

Monica,
I was so sorry to read about the death of your dear mother. I have lovely memories of how sweet she was to me when we would play at your house when we were little. Please give my best to your brother and to Rhonda and Margot.
