A visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. A private family funeral will be held at a later date in Mexico. Memorials may be made to the family.

Luciano was born September 8, 1932 to Luciano and Maria Guadalupe Mojica Leon in San Antonio Carupo Michoacan, Mexico.

Luciano married Ignacia Mojica in 1957 in Mexico. He worked as a farmer in Mexico for most of his life before moving to Rock Island with his wife in 2000. Luciano will be remembered as a wonderful family man. He was always there for them.

Luciano is survived by his sons, Rafael (Maria De Los Angeles) Mojica, Rock Island, Jose (Jovita) Mojica, Rock Island, and Jose Guadalupe (Isela) Mojica, Mexico; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Madre Chabela Mojica, Mexico, Maria Guadalupe(Raul) Rangel, Rock Island; brothers, Ramon (Antonia) Mojica, Rock Island, Bonifacio (Maria Teresa) Mojica, Orange, Calif., Rafael (Maria Gavina) Mojica, Rock Island, and Jaime (Rosa) Mojica, Orange, Calif.; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Isabel Mojica; son, Higinio Mojica; brother, Vicente Mojica; and his parents.
