Our thoughts are with the entire family. David was a great husband, father, brother, grandfather, cousin, uncle and friend to many.
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth and He saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace Be Thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

My heart goes out to your family at this time of great loss. I never got to meet David but felt his loving spirit through his daughter Lisa When a person can inspire that kind of love and devotion in the people around him. That is a sign of greatness. and I know his spirit will live on in all the people lives he touch .He fought a heroic battle to stay in this world as long as he could to be with all of you and his presents will be missed. But he will always be with you in all the good memories he left you with
