Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island. Visitation is 10 am until service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family.

Beverly was born on December 26, 1935 in Rock Island, a daughter of Carl and Beatrice Payton Rose.

She retired from the maintenance department of the Rock Island Housing Authority.

Beverly was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a former member of the choir. She had also been active with the parents group of the Martin Luther King Center.

Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Rose and Marla Rose, both of Rock Island; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sisters and brothers, Sylvia Cunningham, Chicago, Gilbert Rose, Rock Island, Marcia Wortham, Rock Island, Irma Davis, Moline and Wayne Rose, Abilene, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents and two great grandchildren.
