We would like to extend our sincere sympathy to the family of Gloria. We are related - distantly. My father-in-law, William H. Schutte and Ferne Fuhr were first cousins. We know that Gloria has had many health issues over the years, but did not know she was near death lately. We usually saw her at the Cemetary in May and Ill. City Days, but can't remember if we saw her this past year or not.

I am so glad that I phoned her last Monday and got to talk to her. She said "the kids have gone to check on using hospice. I don't know if that is necessary, I can still do my own bath."
You "kids" have done such a beautiful job taking care of your Mother.
We will miss her so much. It is not going to be easy to get along without her. I always enjoyed working with her on projects. I will tell you what I told her more than once. "I agree with you on almost everything except politics." She always laughed.
-- Phyllis Titterington

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family. I was just thinking of Gloria a few days ago and I was unaware that she had gone home.
I apologize. I don't get the paper and I hadn't spoken to grandma until tonight, when she told me.
Gloria was aptly named. She was one of those wonderful people. It was a joy to be around her and she enriched and blessed all those who came into contact with her.
Heaven is better now that she is there.
Again, I am so sorry for your loss. It's the community's loss as well, but a gain for paradise.
I pray you all are comforted at this time.
