Funeral services will be 1:00p.m., Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Preemption Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church.

Verlea was born on September 29, 1916 in Aledo, the son of Roy and L. Nellie Crawford Sullivan. She married Clyde Wisenburg on March 6, 1937. She later married Lester Schmook on October 1, 1955. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1990.

Mrs. Schmook had been employed at the former Servus Rubber Co. for 43 years before retiring in 1981. She later worked at Comfort Harbor Nursing Home, Milan for over 14 years.

Verlea was a member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Rock Island Moose #168 and AARP.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Larry and Anne Wisenburg, Neponset, IL; step son, Ronald Schmook; grandchildren, Steven Wisenburg, Michelle Gunawan; great grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Eva, William, Micah, Heather, Derrick; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
