TO THE FAMILY OF GERALDINE “DEENIE” PAYTON:
“MAY THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING KEEP YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.”
We the Trinity Community Baptist Church Family under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Larry D. Dixon, Sr., extend our heartfelt sympathy to your family. There are no words that will ease your pain just now. I can only offer you some comfort with these words from the Gospel of John, chapter 5:24:
Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life.
While it is sometimes hard to understand why we must face times of sorrow God has given his children the promise that he will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). At this moment, Deenie enjoys an understanding of God that you and I cannot even imagine. Please take comfort in knowing that.
The love you have for Deenie is obvious and she will be missed. Let it be known that as you weep, you do not weep alone. For “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Therefore I say to you, “Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and he will strengthen thine heart. Wait I say on the Lord.”
We love you and are praying with and for you.
Prayerfully submitted,
Rev. Dr. Larry D. Dixon, Sr.
