He attended Rock Island High School and then joined the U.S. Navy. Bob was a WW II U.S. Navy veteran. Upon returning from the War, he began his career at the J.I. Case Co., Rock Island. Bob loved his job and retired in 1988 after 41 ½ years of dedicated service.
He was a true outdoorsman. Bob loved to hunt, fish, and take his old boat out on the Mississippi. He was a man of many talents and could fix anything.
