I remember your dad sitting in his chair by the window when I was at your house, taking long walks, puttering at his work bench in the garage, going to his parent's home for dinner and cards....he will missed by your family. My Grandpa and Grandma are in my thoughts every day. I will never forget the Sunday dinners where Grandpa always told me that eating watermelon would put hair on my chest, the early mornings of seeing him shaving and getting ready for work, and the late night doughnuts. I will always have memories of playing in the big tree out front and will miss counting how many names it took till he got the right one. I love you grandpa, and I’m happy that you will get to see me get married after all, from one of the best seats in the house.

Mrs Barb, Kurt & Lila, my brother Tom & I would like to extend our deepest condolences. My prayers are with you during this time of bereavement. I am glad that our father Richard Shay was able to be there but I had hopes that I could attend. Traveling with my job makes it difficult to be where I would like to be however.
