| David L. Wardlow, 65, of Atkinson, passed away Tuesday October 4, 2011 at Trinity Pathway Hospice. Graveside services are 2:30pm Tuesday at Rock Island National Cemetery, with Military Honors by Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 299. Those wishing to attend should meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island at 2:00pm. Memorials may be made to the family. David was born on August 29, 1946 in Moline, the son of Glen and Thelma Wells Wardlow. He had been employed at Sexton Ford and Dahl Ford. He is survived by his spouse, Carol; step children, Tim(Annette); Angela(Mark) Scherer; 8 step grandchildren; brother, Rod Wardlow; good friends, Paul, Doug, LT, all the VVA members of Chapter 299 and Elizabeth Olson. | |

Dave and I grew up together on 7th ave. in Moline.
We both went to Grant, Coolidge and Moline High.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
