Steven M. “Rocky” Randall, 62, of Rock Island, formerly of Springfield, Ohio, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Services for Rocky will be 1:30 pm Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, where military honors will be conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America – Quad City Chapter No. 299. Memorials may be made to the family.

Steven M. Randall was born on December 3, 1948 in Rock Island, the son of Richard R. Randall and Marion Vandevort Randall. He married Cheryl Duncan on May 28, 1994 in Rock Island. Rocky worked as an assembler for the International Harvester Co., Farmall Works, Rock Island and at the International Truck and Engine Co., Springfield, OH for 39 years, retiring in 2011. His memberships include the UAW Local No. 402, Springfield, OH, Laborers Local No. 309, Rock Island, Moose Lodge No. 536, Springfield, OH and VFW Post No. 1031, Springfield, OH. Rocky was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; children, Joseph R. Randall, Indianapolis, IN, Eric M. Randall, Rock Island, Amber M. Randall, Dubuque, IA; step children, Amy (Brad) Cupps, Springfield, OH, Lori (Chris) Dean, New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren, Nyle, Chelsi, Devin, Cameron, Maxwell, Kaylyn, Mathew, Andrew, Ashleigh, Devan, Haylee, Cody, Nicholas, Blake, Aydin and Tessa; a great grandson, Iziah; brothers and sister; Mike (Michelle) Randall, Tarpon Springs, FL, Melody (Fred) Berry, Hampton, Troy (Mary) Randall, Andalusia, Angel (John) Bender, Colona, Richy (Colleen) Randall, Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.
