Private services will be held Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island.

Joyce was born on January 6, 1941 in Moline, the daughter of Alphonse and Verble (Jones) VanEarwage.

She had been employed at St. Anthonys Care Center, Rock Island and also for several Quad City cleaning services.

Joyce enjoyed playing Euchre, trips to the local riverboats and fishing.

Survivors include her siblings and their spouses, James(Mary Lou) VanEarwage, Moline, Gerald VanEarwage, Des Moines, Iowa, Phillip(Leona) VanEarwage, Cambridge, Michael VanEarwage, Rock Island, Steven(Betty) VanEarwage, Moline; special friend, Ron Jorgenson, Rock Island; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joanne Norris and Edith Loete.
