| Donna A. Kohrs, 79, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Rock Island, IL passed away Thursday, January 5th, 2012 at Bayfront Medical Center, St.Petersburg, FL. Private Services were held at St. Andrew’s Church in Dunedin, FL and Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
Donna was born Feb. 22nd, 1932 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Thomas G. and Laura A. Fox Dew. She graduated from La Grove High School, Farina Illinois, class of 1950 and married Donald E. Kohrs of Rock Island Illinois on July 23rd , 1955.
While residing in the Quad Cities, she worked at the Times Democrat in Davenport, Iowa and for Howard Braren Associates in the 1970’s. They moved from Rock Island to Clearwater in 1980 where she held the position of Administrative Assistant, Vocational Rehabilitation, State of Florida. During her final years she resided with her husband of 56 years in Clearwater, Florida.
Survivors include her husband, Donald of Clearwater, FL; children, David T., Laguna Beach, CA; Diann (Daniel) Gano, Rock Island, IL; Daniel J., Big Bear, CA; Donald (Leticia Medina), Santa Cruz, CA; Dean A., Clearwater, FL; granddaughters, Angela (Nicholas) DeVolder, Davenport, Iowa and Kathleen (William) Blattner, Lisle, IL. Donna recently had the joy of welcoming her great granddaughters Vera DeVolder and Elizabeth Blattner into the family in 2011. | |

My deepest sympathy to the family. I am a grandaughter of Mary Fox and William Siebert and visited, as a child with Alice & Jim Fox. I was very saddened to hear of this loss.
