| Patricia A. Bulens, 80, a resident of Avonlea Cottage, Milan, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial is at the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Patricia Terry was born on Feb. 10, 1932 in Andalsuia. She married Charles A. “Chink” Bulens on March 27, 1954 in Rock Island. He died August 19, 2005. She worked as a bookkeeper at Swords Veneer and Lumber Co., Rock Island for 32 years and later worked at Gendler’s Wine Cellar, Rock Island. Pat was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Survivors include her children, Michael E. Bulens (Terrie Jordan), Moline and Kathleen M. Sparks (Monty Inskeep), Milan; grandchildren, Christopher and Pamela Bulens and Stephanie and Heather Sparks; and three great-grandchildren, with a new arrival expected in July.
