Services will be 11:30am, Wednesday at Trinity Anglican Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00am Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Roberta was born on February 6, 1925 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Robert L. and Phebe Marie (Ward) Figley.

She had been employed at Bituminous Insurance Company, Rock Island for 43 years, retiring in 1987. During her years at Bituminous she worked as a stenographer and secretary.

Roberta had been an active member of Trinity Anglican Church, Rock Island, where she was involved with the Sunday school program.

Survivors include nephew, John (Carolyn) Zuber, Roselle, IL; nieces, Virginia (Mike) Lesnet, Orland Park, IL, Marjorie (Henry) Rusek, Orland Park, IL and Carole (Keith) McDonald, New Lenox, IL, and seven great nephews/nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Dorothy Figley and Marie (Bernard) Zuber, and brother in law Bernard Zuber.
