| Doris I. “Dottie” Blocker, 72, of Galesburg, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Services for Dottie will be 10 am, Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201-E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 pm to 4pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Dottie was born on May 29, 1940 in Rock Island, a daughter of Floyd Jacobs and Doris (LaRue) Jacobs. She married Albert L. Blocker on November 15, 1965 in Rock Island. She enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, going on long car rides and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Albert; children, Debbie Webb, Rock Island, Terry Allen, Milan, Kathy (Mike) Foster, Milan, Donald Campbell, Arcadia, FL., and Linda (Jim) Dickson, Las Vegas, NV.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Tina, Danielle, Tom, Jason, Scott, Ryan, Tiffany and Justin; great grandchildren, Crystyna, Rebecca, Ashley, Brandon, Nicole, Shane and Rhylei; her twin sister, Delores (Richard) Husband, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; brother, Dennis (Jan) Jacobs, Milan; sister in law, Lydia LaRue, Galesburg.
