| Shawn D. Pedersen, 37, of Milan, IL, died Sunday July 8, 2012 at Genesis-Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Shawn was born November 10, 1974 in Moline, IL. He was an avid Cubs, Bears and Bulls fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his children, Joshua and Preston Pedersen, Alexis, and Teigan Andrews, Milan; mother and stepfather, Diane and Rodger Stone, Milan; father, Robert Pedersen, Milan; sisters (and spouses), Caroline Pedersen (John Danforth), Rock Island and Nicole (Ryan) Patterson, Orion, IL; stepbrother, Joseph (Katie) Stone, Preemption, IL; paternal grandmother, Doris Forcade, Milan; maternal grandparents, Helga (Bernd) Lehman, Berlin, Germany; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Shawn was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Paul “Frank” Dwyer and Bill Forcade; maternal grandfather, William Ziemba, Jr., and his aunt, Caroline Ziemba. | |

I've known Shawn for a very long time. He was a big part of my life when we were younger. He was a great guy and he will truly be missed. I'm so glad i got to see him and spend some time with him before he passed away. I am very grateful for that. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
