| Kenneth R. Stokesbary, 81, of Milan, passed away Monday July 9, 2012 at Trinity, Rock Island. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Kenneth was born on July 7, 1931 in Garner, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Effie (Clark) Stokesbary. He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Mr. Stokesbary had been employed by Montefusco Heating Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Co in Peoria, IL . He enjoyed golfing and watching the Chicago Bears. He loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Nancy (Tim) Blackwell, Milan, David (Wendy) Stokesbary, Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren, Angela (Tony) Fauser, Carbon Cliff, Ali Stokesbary, Cedar Rapids, IA, James Blackwell, Milan; great grandchildren, TJ Fauser, Zoey Fauser, Will Fauser, Paige Blackwell; brother, Carroll, David, Joe, Doug and Allen; sisters, Eva, Donna, Katherine and Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. | |

Sorry to hear about Kenny. i am from Colo and knew family quite well.wish i had known that he lived so close(i live in Orion,il).Our families Terronies, Luings had fun back in the days!!
