| Missionary Minnie L. Jackson, 69, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Davenport Good Samaritan Center, Davenport. Services for Minnie will be 11 am Tuesday at the Spirit of Liberty Evangelist Church, Davenport. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family. Minnie was born on May 10, 1943 in Henderson, Tennessee, a daughter of Lester and Elvie (Smith) Reed. She married Robert Jackson in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1996. She was a member of the Israel Outreach Ministry. Survivors include her children, Charles (Annie) Reed, Stanley Reed, Robin (Willie) Jackson; step children, Larry (Gloria) Bolden, Gilbert Moore, Mickey (Liz) Carlson; two sisters; five brothers; and one step sister.
