| Clara DeBout, 96, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Services for Mrs. DeBout will be 9:00 am, Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be Friday from 3 pm – 6 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rock Island. Clara was born on January 30, 1916 in Rock Island, a daughter of Prosper and Sarah (Coddens) DeSmet. She married Frank DeBout on October 23, 1937. He preceded his wife in death on December 20, 1999. Mrs. DeBout was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rock Island. Clara had been under the wonderful care at the Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, for the last five years. Survivors include her son, Frank C. DeBout, Rock Island; a niece, Norva Williams, Milan; and a nephew, John Shirkey, Wenona, IL.
