Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife, Kelly, for his daughter’s education fund.
Christopher was born on March 4, 1974 in Moline, a son of Fremont A., Jr. and Candice (Tillman) Rudsell. He graduated from Rockridge High School in 1992. Chris developed a passion for farming, which began when he started working for Mr. Bill Curry on his farm. He also spent several years caring for the Budweiser Clydesdales as part of the St. Louis Hitch. Chris then worked for Triple D Construction, as an independent contractor. Through the years, his dream of farming never left him and he and his wife, Kelly, eventually bought their own farm. Chris loved being on the farm and appreciated the efforts of his father, Jr., and father in law, Dave, who helped his dream become a reality. In his spare time, Chris enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughters and taking them on “Ranger rides” down to the beach. He also enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. Chris was a member of Community Baptist Church in Andalusia and the Farm Bureau.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kelly; daughters, Cammie and Makenna, Milan; his mother, Candy, Reynolds; siblings, Eric (Sommer) Lawrence, Andalusia and Elizabeth (Stan) Boney, Reynolds. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, special cousin, Jarin Rudsell, best friend, Matt DeKeyrel and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fremont “Jr.,” his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
