Daniel D. Draper

 Daniel D. Draper, 60, of Sherrard, IL, passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 at his home.

 A memorial gathering and celebration of Dan’s life will be 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the home of his daughter, Fallon Rodriquez, 2448 - 18th Ave., Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, is assisting the family with arrangements.

 Daniel was born October 17, 1957 in Moline, IL, a son of Glen D. and Roberta L. Franklin Draper. He graduated from Sherrard High School, Class of 1975. He married Lisa M. Quinones in 1981 in Rock Island.

 Daniel retired from the former Eagles Warehouse in Milan. Following his retirement, he was a farmhand for Kirwan Farms, New Windsor. He was a member of Teamster’s Local 371, Rock Island.

 Dan will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father and papa. He loved working on his farm and being outdoors.

 Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa, of Sherrard; daughters, Jenifer Frere, and her husband Benjamin, Aledo, and Fallon Rodriguez, and her husband, Justin; grandchildren, Wyatt Frere, Rhett Frere, Charlotte Frere, Lillian Rodriguez and Rajet Rodriguez; father-in-law, John Quinones, Sr.; Rock Island; brother-in-law, Michael Quinones,  Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews.

 Dan was preceded in death by his father; mother; mother-in-law, Lillian Quinones; and brothers-in-law, John Quinones, Jr. and Edward Quinones.
