To the entire Barber Family, words cannot express the deep sorrow our family feels towards the passing of our dear sister, friend and neighbor. The entire community surrounding the 10th Street and 5th Avenue section of Rock Island, have always held a special place in each of hearts - because we always considered each other as family. May God continue to bless, uplift and keep each of you in his loving care.

Dear Barber and Harrison Families, Deborah and I were classmates at RIHS. I remember her always so upbeat and friendly! In the past few years we have spoken on the phone and occasionally I had the pleasure of seeing her in a store and we picked up our friendship of nearly 50 years as if we hadn't missed a beat. Praying you find comfort knowing of her love for Our Lord.

Seninding my deepest condolences to the family. Although it's been years since I've seen her, that cousin bond was always evident through our correspondences on social media and in telephone calls. I will truly miss her loving smile. The McCoy family has lost another angel! God Bless all of you. Love always, Joyce

My heart goes out to the entire family. Deborah was a wonderful person who could drive a project to near perfection and at the same time offer a sympathetic ear when you needed a friend. I will miss her smile and laughter. Bill you were a great example to us men on how to love and take care of a wife.

The (Barber) Harrison Family: I was very sorry to hear of Deborah's passing. May the God of all comfort be with your family during this difficult time. The Bible promises at Acts 24:15, "that there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous." I hope these words prove to be of some comfort to the family.

I came to the Northwest Region in Peoria to work after she had retired. However, I did get the opportunity to meet her. She was truly a beautiful human being. Had that "spunk" a lot of people don't have. Definitely another angel looking down on us. Thoughts and prayers to the family for your loss. Rest in Peace, Deborah.

I had the pleasure of working with Deborah and Bill for several years when she served as the local office manager at the IDES office in Galesburg Illinois. Deborah was always fair and willing to work with people of all backgrounds. I will never forget her laugh. She will be missed!

What a beautiful lady!!! I did not know her well but was honored to see her several times. The last time at Special Olympics. She wore that lovely smile and her sweet personality always. My sincere condolences to her family and many friends. Our loss is certainly heaven's gain.

Deborah was very kind to me when I was the "new kid in region". She was funny and so interesting to talk too. I know she had a deep faith so I am sure that brought her great comfort. To her family I send my greatest condolences. What a positive life force she was.

I am so sorry to hear of Deborah's passing. I had the privilege of being on the school board with Deborah. She was an amazing woman and we had many discussions during that time. She shared stories about her family with me and it was very obvious that her family was very special to her. I feel very honored having had the opportunity to have known her. Heaven definitely gained another angel. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
