Dear Quisty, I think of you everytime I make your recipe for your butter sugar cookies. You always gave my mother , who lived down the hall from you at Friendship Manor in B Building, a plate if your cookies and you shared your recipe with me. I cherish the recipe as they are the best ever cookies!! However no one makes them as good as you did. My mother would always alert me by saying, “Quisty is baking cookies today” and we couldn’t wait until you showed up with some to share. A pleasant memory of a nice time and a lovely lady. Perhaps you and my mother are baking some up in heaven now! I like to think so . Rest in peace...
