Mr. Ernat made the cake for our wedding in 1978. It was absolutely gorgeous. My husband said that he has never seen a more beautiful cake in his life.. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Ernat Family,
Mr. Ernat made the cake for our parent's 25th wedding anniversary in 1980. He came highly recommended by other John Deere employees and I soon found out why. My parents have since passed on but pictures and fond memories of that event are still with us, and the beautiful cake is always front and center. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To all the Ernat children who were students at Sherrard High School: I am vey sorry for the loss of your grandfather. Grandfathers are loved, missed, and remembered. I had forgotten that he made a delicious wedding cake for my daughter in l970 before i was a Sherrardie.
