James Everett “Jimi” Gamble, 42, of Milan, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Milan. A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with visitation an hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Jimi was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on December 6, 1975, a son of Rodney L. and Jacquelyn K. Miller Gamble.
He was currently employed for Xpac in Milan as a supervisor.
Jimi loved his children. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed fishing and playing Xbox.
Survivors include his children, Exavier Lopez, Illinois City, Arianna Gamble, Knoxville, Ill. and Ivy Gamble, Davenport; mother, Jacquelyn Carlson, Taylor Ridge; father, Rodney Gamble, Preston, Nev.; step-father, Charles Carlson, Rock Island; siblings, Wendy (Mike) Gamble, Illinois City, Robin (Jared) Jewell, East Peoria, Nicole Crummy, Milan, Tony (Tanya) Carlson, Moline, Stacy (Jeremy) Villarreal, Milan, Tina Marie Arthur, Las Vegas, Nev. and Ken Crummy, Milan; and grandparents, LeRoy (Erma) Gamble, Preston, Nev.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Miller and Delores Whistlecroft.
