I just saw this on Facebook today, May 22, I remember Jerry from early years of junior high thru high school. He was a very nice young man, my age but more friends with my brother Mike. I remember some of his friends as Tom Franks, Keith Jensen, Doug and Kenny. It sounds like Jerry touched a lot of lives in a most positive way and I'm sorry to see that cut short. My condolences to his family for your loss. God bless him.

I was so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I worked with him at RYC. I was a new counselor in 1995 and he was one of my role models. I know he touched many lives like he touched mine. I pray God's comforting arms will surround you Darla and your family today and in the days ahead.

Just want to say it was such fun to have Jerry in our golfing group. He get so mad about a bad shot and 2 minutes later he'd be so happy he made the par putt. We always love when he say no missed it and it would go in the hole. He would just smile and slap his leg. We truly are going to miss him .

RIP, Jerry. I am grateful to Jerry for so many things, things done during the worst time of my life. I was at the Lodge following the death of my husband and giving up my addiction. I had a friend watching my cats until I could care for them myself. But then she let me know, while I was at the Lodge, that she couldn't keep them anymore. I was devastated. My husband had just died and now I was going to lose my cats to. But Jerry, bless his heart, let me bring my cats to the Lodge. I will never forget that kindness. I had both of my cats until they grew old and died. You, his family, will be in my prayers. God bless you.

One of the many blessings when Katie met Aaron was that Jerry became family. We all love Jerry. Such a sweet, courageous man, gone too soon. All my family will miss him, and we wish you, all of you, the comfort of memories.

I was so saddened to hear about Jerry's passing. I had known him when he had worked at RYC and also worked with Darla. Both of them extremely wonderful people, and my sympathies go out to Darla, their children and grandchildren as well as siblings. My heart goes out to everyone and my prayers go out for God to guide and care for them in the days ahead.
